Social Responsibility:
When it comes to helping others, we're honored to step up

Responsible and responsive wherever we are.

We are more than a trucking, intermodal and logistics company. We are an engine of positive growth for the people and communities we serve.

To do this, we give back to the communities where we work and live. We understand and accept our responsibility to be good involved citizens who are respectful of each other and our planet. Through the many social programs we support, we live up to these obligations every day.

My Team Triumph

Charitable Giving

By coming together we become stronger together.

Social responsibility is deeply ingrained in the Schneider Way. Through the Schneider Foundation, we wholeheartedly support the communities where our associates and customers work and live. We believe in a sustainable future and want to leave our world better than we found it.

To do this, we give back to the communities where we work and live. We understand and accept our responsibility to be good involved citizens who are respectful of each other and our planet. Through the many social programs we support, we live up to these obligations every day.

Community

We give back because we look ahead.

We've been actively engaged in community outreach since the formation of the Schneider Foundation in 1982 (and informally for many years before that.) Since that time, we've sponsored programs that encourage community health, well-being and positive change.

Naturally, this includes supporting our armed forces. We actively recruit veterans because they've proven to be smart, hard-working professionals who are natural leaders; over 25 percent of our associates have a military background. We're proud to have been named one of the Top 100 Military-Friendly Employers by G.I. Jobs® since 2007.

Environment

We’ve discovered what’s good for the environment often has other benefits too.

Green business is good business. We've recognized that fact since the '70s when we began to focus on fuel efficiency, freight consolidation and energy conservation. Operating sustainably has allowed us to do more with less and reduce emissions.

Sustainability and energy conservation are built into every aspect of our business — from Truckload to Intermodal to Logistics and Supply Chain Management. When you work with us, you can be sure your freight gets the attention it deserves.

Financial

Built around your business. Built to last.

From our start over 80 years ago, Schneider has been a privately held company. That status has powered our singular purpose: to do what's best for our customers, our associates and the communities we serve.

Our continuous reinvestment in the company has gotten us to where we are today: a financially sound enterprise offering shippers a full portfolio of freight solutions and logistics services. Bottom line, the strength and resources of Schneider power our ability to meet our customers' evolving needs.
